Buddy accountability

Give someone you trust the final say.

Ant Signal lets a buddy approve specific changes that weaken your blocker. They see the request. Your private activity stays on your phone.

Approval flow

Ask for the exact change you want.

Connect a buddy and Ant Signal places weakening actions behind their approval. A request names the protection and the proposed change. Your buddy can answer in the app or through a one-time email link.

The first answer settles the request. If they approve it, that approval can be spent once on the matching change.

Internet filter

Turn it off or allow one blocked host.

Routines

Relax, disable, or delete one named routine.

App installs

Open installation for one requested app while Ant Signal stays in front.

Account exit

Signing out does not remove protection rules already on the phone.

What they see

A request and a result. No surveillance feed.

Your buddy sees who asked, what protection would change, and any reason you chose to include. They can also receive an alert if the internet filter is removed outside the approved flow.

They do not receive

Ant Signal does not send your buddy browsing history, Screen Time totals, app activity, messages, photos, saved places, or live location.

Buddy relationships and delivery use Ant Signal’s cloud service. Blocking decisions stay on the phone.

Delivery

The request reaches the channel your buddy has.

If your buddy has Ant Signal registered for notifications, the request appears in their app. If they do not, Ant Signal sends a one-time email link. A device Apple reports as gone falls back to email for that request.

A failed push does not weaken your blocker. The request remains waiting for an answer.

Accountability that holds
